“Work” and “Waste”

These are two words I am attempting to banish from my vocabulary. “Work” has such a connotation of servitude, victimhood or needless effort. I am fortunate to be of service to and engage with people every day. And in the over 30 jobs I have held in my life I have always been of service to somebody. I do not want to diminish my contributions by the word “work”. I get to love and participate in my life, not work at it.

Nothing in Nature is considered waste. Everything is valuably recycled over and over again. If i consider I have “wasted” time, I am passing judgement on my life. I find tremendous value in procrastination. I am merely planning and thinking about some new action. When someone gets drunk enough to say they are “wasted”, it is a strong statement of worthlessness. No Human Being is ever worthless, even when we drink too much. And time is never really “wasted”. We are constantly learning.

I am working at not wasting your time with my blog.

Peace,

And Love Your Life.

With some humor
