It was brought to my attention that my prostate gland and I had in-advertently created some cells that wanted to take over my life. These cells, also of God’s creation like the rest of me, have the phenomenon of craving for power and domination. This craving is not unlike the craving for alcohol, drugs or sugar that takes over some people from time to time. These cells, if left unchecked, will spread and destroy everything they can. Like a whole group of brutal, authoritating dictator driven people. And just like the cravings of alcoholics or drug addicts, the cancerous cell’s cravings for power and domination will destroy the functioning of the host.
The only effective, non surgical way to stop the drug and alcohol cravings is with some kind of spiritual awakening. Although most people will die of their cravings before they surrender to any kind of Divine Intervention.
The cells that I have developed in my prostate, do, in fact kill more in their quest to dominate and control than any other cause of death for men.
Short of any spiritual intervention that I am aware of, the good folks at the VA Medical team have agreed to surgically remove these offending cells before they can cause any serious damage to the rest of me.
I am elated, to say the least. I have been advised to take 4 to 6 weeks off of work after the procedure. I love what I do and I have never taken a vacation of that length, nor have I ever planned on retiring. So this is new territory for me. I am excited beyond words to discover what I will do with this new found freedom of time.
Also my joy is fed by the realization that 95% of old men over 75 get prostate problems. Yeahoooo…I made it to “Old Man” status. And that my brutal, dominating, power craving cells will be surgically deported to “medical waste” somewhere.
Seems appropriate these days.
